So I walked in my kitchen today and I seen Chopper (boxer) and Colby (cat) all cuddled up together. Colby really thinks she is a dog but I have never seen Chopper actually holding her and cuddling with her. I mean she does not hang out with the other cats but still it was to funny!!

Today Gabriel got up and as I was playing with him he looked right at me and smiled !! I thought he did it unknowingly but then I started talking to him again and he smiled at me again. Fidel thought it was so cute but a little jealous too. I did not get a chance to get a picture of it but I will be sure to keep my camera handy!!! ( It was not his actual first smile he smiles alot while he is sleeping but the first of him acutally looking at me ).

I got induced at midnight August 3, 2009. They told me just to rest until 7 a.m. when they was suppose to start pitocin ( to induce labor) I did not make it that far. They hooked me up to the monitors and gave me siatec to soften my cervix. Dr. Mehta said that it would not put me into labor but a 6 a.m. i woke up in the worst pain ever. I was having contraction after contraction. The minute one stopped the next one started. I did not even have time to catch my breath . I was 1 cm dialated . I got some pain medication but it did not work very well. By 7:30 i was 3 cm dialated and i asked for the epidural. By the time i got it, it was around 8:30 they had to try 3 times before they got it in the right spot but i swear that the epidural did not work either . They checked me after i got the epidural and i was 6 cm dialated. At around 9:30 I was having the urge to push so bad and they in the worst pain ever they told me i could not push yet i was 9 cm then and still had a little bit of cervix still left. Finally about 15 minutes later I was having the urge to push so bad they called the Dr. and I started to push he was out about 30 minutes later. That was the worst but most worth it pain i have ever been in . He was born at 10:13 a.m. 8 lbs 9 oz. , 20 1/2 inches long, and healthy. When they sat him on my chest he still wasn't cying so i just looked at him and said " Gabriel please cry so I know you are ok. " and he started to cry. It was amazing . Fidel cut the embilical cord. We got our first family photo. My mom was in the delivery room with me and fidel. I could tell that really meant alot to her and I was glad to have her there. Even though she said it killed her to see her child in so much pain she wanted to cry and was getting mad at the nurses cause they would not give me the epidural they kept telling me I had to wait. After Dr. Mehta was done with everything he had to do he leaned over to me and kissed me on the cheek and said " Congrats, you did a great job. " My mom thought it was the sweetest thing in the world she has never seen a Dr. do that before. I truely do have the best Dr. I would suggest him to anyone. and O I got out of bed and walked & got in the shower an hour after I had him!! That was awesome too!! David came to see us after I had him and stayed there all day long with us. That really meant alot to me to. He has been very supportive through all of it. Brandon came after he got off work.They released Gabe and I 24 hours after time of delivery, because me and Gabe did so well. I love my small little family so much !!! My family is complete. I got alot of phone calls in the hospital and thank you everyone. my sister got in yesterday and was so excited to see Gabe as soon as she seen him she started to cry !! It really meant alot to me to have her here cause i really felt like she was disappointed in me for getting pregnant. And you know us she has been a big part of my life she had to be my sister, best friend, supporter, & mom all in one. So she was a person I never wanted to disappoint. I was not always the best for her but everyone makes mistakes and learn from them. I love you all !! Hope you enjoy the slide show !!!

So I went in for my regular visit yesterday !! Here lately every time I go in I have been having high blood pressure so they have been watching me really good!! It was 140/90 so they sent me over to labor and delivery to get a stress test done to make sure the baby was not in destress and they ordered a 24 hour urine collection on me to make sure i did not have protein in my urine. Me and Fidel soent the night their I got release today and i had such a small amount of protein in my urine he decided not to take the baby yet !! However he does not think i am going to go to my due date he is planning on inducing me on August 3 !! So he put me on blood pressure medicine to see if he could get it to go down!! he says i either am developing preclampsia or gestational hypertension (which basicly means high blood pressure due to pregnancy )

LOL Don't get me wrong I like her music as Miley Cyrus but hate her voice when she talks and hate going anywhere and everywhere and seeing her face on anything and everything!! She has her own toothpaste !! Ugh !! WE ARE HATERS, I KNOW!!!! So David decides to get Brandon a Miley Cyrus card for his birthday and pretend like she wrote in it !!! haha It was so funny !! I have been horrible about blogging here lately!! SORRY !! Now it is time to tell you why!! well the beginning of May we went to Palm Coast to visit my brother, sister-in-law, and niece Brianna. When we were there my sister-in-law suprised Fidel with a 3-D Ultrasound which was absoultly amazing!!!!

As well as took some beautiful pregnancy pictures of Me and Fee!!

Now we are back home !!
I had a dr. appointment today and everything is normal other than the fact they think i am 2 weeks further along so they are measureing me at 32 weeks!!
which would move me too the end of july beginning of august!!!

So Brandon graduated and was an amazing event!!!
We are so very proud of him!!!! We had a family baby shower and it was great!!

Breezy's Bravery && Such

So most of you know that my niece Brianna has Cystic Fibrosis. Well next week my sister, brother, and sister in law is putting on a wonderful benefit for Cystic Fibrosis!! Which is going to have the great artist Ric Standridge and a music performance by Angie Aparo. 30% of all the proceeds are going the the cystic fibrosis foundation. It is going to be a great event and wish i could be there but i am actually going to visit them the day after. So Fidel & I are super excited about that. When we go visit them we are going to go and register for the baby shower and Jessie is going to take some pregnancy pics of Fee & I , and we are just going to have a great time seeing The Famous Brianna "Breezy" Shiflett, and of course it is always a great time seeing Nate and Jessie we haven't seen them since Thanksgiving !! I can't wait. I think we may have decided on a middle name we are thinking it might be James (thanks Nate for your suggestion) It is the name of my Late Grandfather James Henderson who was only the best man in the whole world. It is still up in the air but it is the winner so far. On another note Gabriel has been kicking the crap out of me all the time now. I remember not being able to wait to feel something it is aggervating but also in a strange way the most amazing thing i have ever felt. It is the feeling of love everytime I feel him move. && almost comforting to know that he is still in there. I miss you all and know I have been horrible about updating this blog in the last 3 weeks. I will put up new belly pics in a few days because it definetly is growing everyday.

Also in a few weeks there will be a cystic fibrosis walk so I wanted to share this amazing little video that Jessie put together about Breezy. It is great and even can make you a little teary eyed!!

OUR DR APT. WAS AMAZING!!! We went to the ultrasound and was there for about an hour and a half!!! haha We def had no problem finding out it was a boy!!! That was the only picture he was wanting to give the tech. Haha We are so excited about our Lil Prince. as well as the rest of you. You all know it is Fidel's family's first time to be Grandparents or Aunt and Uncles well for my family they have experienced that but it is going to be the First LIL BOY!! The first GRANDSON OR NEPHEW!! (Imagin that i dont have to carry our name on so of course i would get the BOY!! ) SO I GUESS HE IS ALREADY PREPARING FOR HIS BIG ARRIVAL!! ok ok back to the ultrasound he was sitting so low the tech said she felt sorry for me cause he is sitting right on my cervix and bladder the tech took a pic just so i could show you all.

Anyways I will only post the best pics i have or this post would be super long!!!! I am healthy and so is the baby. I have only gained 6 pounds so far 3 of it was in the last month!! SHhhheeesssshhh !! AND THE DR. SAID THAT IT IS NORMAL TO GAIN ABOUT A POUND A WEEK UNTIL I DELIVER!! O NO

So far I have started to feel great!! (knock on wood) I have even started to feel some major movements from the baby!! I can even distinguish actual kicks!! It sometimes takes my breath cause I don't know it is coming and just puts me in shock. I love it!! We will find out the sex of the baby on April 3 that is 11 days away!! YEAH WE CAN'T WAIT!! ((I know the rest of you are just as anxious)) I promise we will make the calls one by one as soon as we get out of the appt!!

Fidel is absouletly my everything right now!! I love him more and more everyday!! He makes this whole pregnancy worth it so far and is just a amazing supporter i have really seen him grow up in these last few months. I can't wait for everyone to see it for themselves. I really just can't give him enough credit.
Now I will share a little story.....

Fidel and I were in the shoe store the other day .
If anyone knows Fidel he loves shoe and his Nike Air Forces.
Well I told him I wanted to go look at the baby shoes and so we went we got over to the section and i showed him a far of Nike Air Forces just like the ones he had on his feet for infants and some Jordans and bless his heart he got teary eyed. I thought it was so cute. Needless to say I am sure our baby will be in them shoes.
haha

I just thought i would share that story with you cause it made me smile. I asked him why he got teary eyed and he said because he got happy !!! Aww

So I know I skipped the 17 week facts but I have not had a computer charger so I have not been on here to much!!! We miss you all and are getting so excited about finding out the baby's sex! Fidel and I went to the store the other day and was looking at baby stuff together we are getting really excited now. I can't wait to meet our lil baby !!

18 week facts:

Head to rump, your baby is about 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and he weighs almost 7 ounces. He's busy flexing his arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. His blood vessels are visible through his thin skin, and his ears are now in their final position, although they're still standing out from his head a bit. Update on Dr. Apt & Belly Pics!!

So the Dr. Appointment went great!! The Dr. said I was completely healthy and that the baby's heartbeat was great. They did not do an ultrasound though :( It was cute cause everytime I go to the Dr. I have to give urine. Well after I got out of the bathroom and went to the room where fidel was he gave me a complete run down of what was ahead of me . haha he asked the nurse all the questions before I even got back. But I am not going to complain at least he shows intrest in all of it !! I can't brag about him enough. We will Def find out what we are having on April 3 !! And they told me to bring in a DVD so that they can record the whole ultrasound for me!! I thought that was awesome cause now we can share it with you. On another note all of you have been wanting belly pics. So here are just a few that i approved of and no fat jokes please. lol

16 week facts:

Lil Kitty's Adventure!!!!!

So some of you know that our Lil Kitty went missing.. She was gone for 2 1/2 days and we thought she was gone. I went to the animal shelter and all. But she came home she woke me up out of a dead sleep crying at my window early Sunday morning she has been missing since Sat night. We are so glad to have her home.. We love our Lil Kitty !!!

Update on my Valetine's Day

I have been sick in bed all day. I had a little bit of a breakdown cause I got sent home from work cause I was sick. I really was just pretty upset. Fidel said it was ok and to go home and get some rest for work tomorrow if I felt like I was able to go. Fidel & I were suppose to go out to dinner and have a little evening to ourself. Well that couldn't happen I really just did not feel up to it so he stayed at work a little bit longer since a girl called out sick. When Fidel got home he suprised me with balloons, a personal size cookie that said "I Love You!", and a little stuffed animal that was holding a box inside that box was a Beautiful Heart Necklace that is white gold with little diamonds in it. I was so shocked I really wasn't expecting anything. It really made me feel good. My emotions had me a little teary eyed. Aww. Here is the best picture i could get of the necklace for all of you guys to see. I Love him so much he knows exactly what to do to make feel better.

Adventures in the Emergency Room

Ugh is not fun!! So yesterday I wrote a post that said that i wasn't feeling well and around 7 o'clock that night I was feeling so bad and couldn't hold anything down not even liquids. I was ok with that and knew that I was just pregnant. But then I got this horrible feeling in my stomach (sharp pains) so bad it was taken my breath away. then i was having a lil blood in my urine and blood in my vomit. So I got scared and had david take me to the Emergency Room because Fidel hasn't got off work yet. Fidel and I waited in the waiting room for 5 hours before being seen but finally when I got back there they hooked me up to a bunch of machines to monitor me and the baby's heartbeat , took some blood, and put an I.V. in me and pumped me full of fluids man I never knew how much an I.V. would make me feel better. They also did a pelvic exam. ( which sucked ) The Dr. defineltly wasn't gentle and was making jokes which made me feel a lil uncomfortable. haha . Anyways long story short I ended up having Gastric Pains in my stomach and another infection my antibiotic i was taking my body was trying to counteract in and gave me another infection which is where the blood was coming from. Shhhs . I am so glad that was the only news they told me. I hate to have keep all of you worried I was just a lil scared. Thanks for all your phone calls and support. Hopefully the rest of the time will be a healthy journey.

o and the Dr. gave me something for nausea!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!

i am so tired of being sick all the time. i know it comes with the whole pregnancy thing but man i feel like poo all the dang time. thankfully there is a upside to this story the dr said that it should almost be over. AMAZING but when??? lol so i decided to write you guys a post just to tell you all about how big of a baby i am being right now. o and it is raining cats and dogs outside. so i am confined to the house cause i don't want to drive in this mess. ok ok so i told you guys i was going to put up a belly pic but i think i am going to wait a lil while cause it just looks like a big fat blob of a stomach. thanks for taking the time out to read my rambleings and non-sense.

13 Week Facts:

............went great!!! We got to see our lil baby not so much of a peanut anymore though. The Dr. said everything looks well and me and the baby are healthy except the fact I have a UTI (ugh). Man, was the baby moving all around and it's little heartbeat was beating so fast. Fidel, was probably the best part of the whole appt., the way he got the biggest smile on his face when he seen the baby turn his head and say hello made my heart feel so warm. I knew the baby was going to have the best father. I really think Fidel is doing absoultly amazing I could not ask for a better boyfriend or soon to be father to our baby. He really does take good care of me when I am not feeling well. Just thought I should take some time out to give him credit where it is due.

11 WEEK FACTS:

Our baby is almost fully formed.
It's hands will soon open and close into fists, tiny tooth buds are beginning to appear under it's gums, and some of it's bones are beginning to harden.
It's already busy kicking and stretching, and it's tiny movements are so effortless they look like water ballet.
You won't feel your baby's acrobatics for another month or two — nor will you notice the hiccupping that may be happening now that her diaphragm is forming.
The baby is just over 1 1/2 inches long and about the size of a fig.

10 Week Facts:

So I know it has taken me a little bit longer to post the 10 week facts just been a little busy!! So here they are.. Sorry o and I know you guys have been wanting a belly picture so I am going to post one soon....

Our baby weighs less than a quarter of an ounce.
This is the begining of the so called fetal-period.
Our baby is swallowing fluid and kicking up a storm(though I still can't feel it)
Tiny nails forming on fingers and toes (no more webbing) and peach-fuzz hair beginning to grow on tender skin.
Your baby's limbs can bend now.
The baby is the size of a kumquat.

9 Week Facts:

Most of the aspects of our baby's physical structure such as head, arms, legs and torso are in place.
It actually resembles a little human now.
In the next few weeks our baby will be putting on weight.
Our baby's tail should have disappeared by now
Our baby's eyelids will fuse shut and won't open up again until your baby is about 27 weeks along.
Our baby's face is becoming more distinct every day, with the mouth, nose and nostrils becoming clearly visible.
Our baby is now either a boy or girl? ( the sex organs have formed though we won't be able to tell for about 4 weeks.)
Our baby is the size of a large grape right now.

Dr.'s Appointment...........2nd Ultrasound

Sorry it took me so long to get this picture up for you guys!! I had to scan it and just was being lazy about it. Anyways, my appointment went great we really liked the doctor. His name is Dr. David Mehta. He is super friendly and nice he did everything to make Fidel and I as comfortable as we could be. So yeah I was concerned about him not actually delievering my baby. But he made sure I knew it would be either him or his partner and I will soon meet him so I will feel comfortable. (They rotate weeks who is on call.) Ok back to baby, Dr. Mehta said everything looked good and healthy we were moving right on track. The baby has a big head and a little body. We also got to hear the heartbeat, which Fidel says sound like a lot of drums cause it was beating so fast. Other than that I have to go do blood work on Tuesday. UGH! Not looking forward to it. So here is the new picture I was a little disappointed because I don't know what to tell you it is. But Dr.Mehta said the next appointment it will actually look like a baby.

Fidel's Redneck Checklist

HaHa That is such a funny way to start a blog entry. Well as some of you know My Brother's decided to make Fidel a Redneck Checklist of some of the stereotypical Redneck traditions. To take back to his family on the west coast to show them !! lol !! We thought it would be really funny for them to hear some of the southern things he has done !!
So here are just a few he has accomplished so far..

1. He went mudding!!

2. Got stuck in the mud!!

3. Got to drive a HUGE CHEVY w/ lifts on it to pull the truck out of the mud !!

4. Ha Ha he caught a baby bass on a fishing rod!!

5. Drove four wheelers out in the country !! ( no literly the country the nearest town is 45 min away)

6. Went to the race track and hung out in the pits!!

7. Went to a hog roast and ate 1 of the best sandwiches EVER!!

8. Went to a Seafood and Crawfish Boil out in the woods w/ a bonfire!!

9. Gator shining!! ( I told him just look for the glowing eyes.)

10. Tried to Stun Catfish w/ a Catfish stunner!! (so illegal ) ((shhh))

11. O and I think the funniest thing is him hanging out with all these crazy Rednecks I grew up around & love !! (My Older Bros Freinds) (crazy fun bunch of people) ((NEVER WANT THEM TO CHANGE))

12. The newest thing he has done was go paintballing (now I know that is not unusual) but he was wearing the funniest thing all camoflauge haha he had camoflauge overalls and john deere hat and a camoflauge jacket. I wish I would have got a picture. I will make him dress up like that again so everyone can laugh for themselves.

13. O and he sings country music. Don't let him fool you he actually likes some of it. LOL ; )

Well thats all we have right now!! But I will post some more as they occur!! We just thought we would share with ya now!!

8 Week Facts:

Webbed fingers and toes are poking out from your baby's hands and feet.
Eyelids practically cover it's eyes.
The tail is just about all gone.
The baby is constantly moving and shifting, though I still can't feel it.

My Fee Is Home

So my Fee is home!! And already back to work. We went and paid some bills today and I got my 1st real Dr.'s Appt. on Next Friday at 2:00 p.m. Yeah !! I get to get another ultrasound and the baby is bigger now!! Hopefully, it actually looks like a baby and not just a little bean. I can't wait to update you guys on it. I know your just as impatient as Fidel & I. Wish me luck!!

His or her eyes are wide open, but he doesn't have irises.

So Fidel told his mom and dad!! Man, I was so worried about what they were going to say I feel so relieved that they were excited!! Fidel told me he wasn't going to tell them until Christmas Day but last night I could tell he was about to burst to tell them. Grandma Rose said that Fidel had her and Grandpa Walter and even Fidel crying !!! AWW I AM SO HAPPY THEY ARE OK!! I WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT IT !! Now all of my worries are over !! I can focus on staying healthy for Baby Ayala !! YaY!!! Now it is time for me and Fee to get excited. I am so happy that everyone has been so supportive through all of this and just generally happy for me and Fidel !! I could really not ask for a better family. I wouldn't change them for the world (any of them). It really means alot to me !! To everyone in California I really wish I could have been there !! I hope you guys have a Very Merry Christmas!! O and for Lil' Walt, Christina, Alex, Angelina, and Larry Congratulations on your first time becoming Aunts and Uncles.

O and as for a Baby Ayala update:: I have been sick on and off for the past 2 days!! Ugh!! And I have to go to work tonight so wish me luck!!!

6 Week Facts

The nose, mouth, and ears are beginning to take shape.

The arms and legs are protruding buds.

The heart is beating about 100 to 160 times a minute — almost twice as fast as mine — and blood is beginning to course through it's body.

The intestines are developing, and the bud of tissue that will give rise to it's lungs has appeared.

The baby doubled in side this week.

Fidel told his grandpa today and he was excited to see his new great grand baby!!
I hope his family is just as excited!!

New Orleans

My Fee is leaving tomorrow!!!!

We had to drive to New Orleans today! ((Jess , James, Fidel and Myself)) Man, what am I going to do for a whole week without him. UGH!! But I am happy that he is going to get to go see his family and he has an even bigger job than that HE HAS TO BREAK THE NEWS TO HIS FAMILY!! cross your fingers everyone. I think they will be excited after the whole shock part gets out of play!! It is their first time being Aunts & Uncles, but even more GRANDMA & GRANDPA!! CONGRATS AYALA FAMILY!! Well I know the last couple entries have been short but I want to spend some time with Fee before he leaves. Its almost time to post my 6 Week Facts. Be looking for them !!

Burger King @ Midnight!!

So I got off work tonight at about a quarter til 11 p.m. ! Me and Fee decided we were hungry, so we went to Burger King!! Well boy, I guess Baby Ayala did not like that greasy Whopper I had!! And it soon came all up!! YUCK , I KNOW. Needless to say I dont think I am going to be eating Burger King again for a lil while !! Just a lil update I do think the sickness is starting!! I am in for a long road ahead!!!

WEEK 5 Facts:

The baby's heart began to beat this week.

The baby is about the side of a sesame seed (only 2 millimeters long), it resembles more of a tadpole than a baby!

The beginnings of the brain; the cardiovascular, nervous and reproductive systems; as well as all other major systems are under way.

First Ultrasound

Fidel & I had our first ultrasound today!! Boy, was it a scary day!! Everything went fine at the ultrasound and the baby is where it is suppose to be and healthy at this point. Wow!! That is some amazing news I feel as if something heavy has been lifted off my shoulders. Just because the previous week I have been so terrified that I thought maybe I might just be having a tubular pregnacy. To be honest I did not even believe that I was pregnant til I seen our baby on the screen. Fidel was amazing at the Dr. he was very supportive. I could not ask for a better boyfriend at this point he has been nothing but supportive so far and has not tried to run and is not going to go anywhere. O and I broke the news to most of my family which were completely cool with things. I actually almost got Jessie in trouble cause I told her before I told Nate and she kept it a Secret. ((SORRY NATE)). Fidel is planning on telling his family when he goes to visit them in California for X-mas. I actually found out that I am 5 weeks and 1 day!! So my due date is August 17,2009 only a week and a half after my B-Day. So here is the little dot of nothing right now!!! Hope ya'll enjoy!!

Overview Of The Events So Far

Hey Everyone!! Just wanted to re-cap you on the events to date!! A couple weeks ago I started not feeling quite like myself. I had not thought at all that I may be pregnant. It was not time for my cycle yet. It started out about a week Before Thanksgiving were my body was waking my up out of a dead sleep nauseated. Still I did not think anything of it. So I just went on with everything like normal. Last week as I was still not feeling like myself I went to my friend Jessie's house and took at pregnancy test. It came out Negative with a little faint positive line. I mean so faint I thought just cause I had got the test wet it showed up just a little. I took one the following morning SAME THING! Come Tuesday I was so aggravated I was having my normal monthly symptoms just no monthly gift yet, that I went to Wal-Mart with my friend's Jessie and Kristin and decided to get one of the ClearBlueEasy Digital Tests (you know the on that says either Pregnant or Not Pregnant). We drove over to Sonic and I took the test. Uh O we are in trouble Positive it said. So I had another one and took it Wed (12-10-08) morning before I went to the Dr. and sure enough Postitive again. I went to the Dr. and it is Official I'M PREGNANT!!! The Dr. said that if we go by my last cycle I am 6-8 weeks and my due date will be August 5, 2009, but we will be able to better detect it on Monday. My first ultrasound is on Monday at 1:00, hopefully they will give me a picture to put up here for you all. So just an apology to all of you that I did not tell you sooner.
